In L.A. class we watched the movie based on the westing game.It was different from the book. We watched some of it and guessed which character was which. It was a little hard but we got it. Then we had to hand in the packet about every person. The book was real good.

Today in science we did a project/quiz.  It was about forces, clouds, and water cycles. We had to make a storm and see were it would go for the next three days to come.then we had to do two pages of definitions. it was an open class work test/project so we could use the notes we took from the last week.

In science class we had a test on the respiratory system. Then we learned a little about the immune system. The immune system fights off diseases and germs or sickness. When u get a shot for the flue it gives u dead cells (germs) and your immune system try’s to fight it. When u get that sickness later on it recognises the germ or sickness and it absorbers it fast and u wont get the sickness.

In science class we learned about adrenal glands, its control and were its located.The adrenal gland is located on the kidney and it controls or makes 30 hormones called adrenaline.

Nothing is more exciting than learning about India. The cow is sacred in India. Cows wonder around in every place even by the ghats. Ghats are stairs to the river there are more than 100 ghats. People spread peoples ashes in the river. The god of death is Shiva and people do prayers in the river. They have disgusting trains that are crowded 4 seats but its the best way to travel. There cars are weird and different.

Flicka is a great movie. My favorite saying in the movie was you create the story of your life in your mind and no one can erase it. The movie is inspiring to me. I think you don’t have to like horses to watch it. The movie was so interesting to watch and your mind gets so into it.

The Police are back. They had a band in the 80’s. They are back and amazed the world with there group. They are coming to CT for a concert. There old but still a good band.

Barboro was a very special horse. Barboro is a very special race horse.He had won first place in his second to last race. The next race he did was terrible he got sore in his back leg and just collapsed. He had a major injury in his back foot. Then in his front foot got sore and they put him down. The worlds favorite horse Barboro is in all memories.

Did you now that there is 2.6 trillion barrels of oil left. (1 barrel has 42 gallons and 159 liters) thats not enough for the world.Where would we get are gas for cars when there’s not enough, well there is a new type of car the MiniCat it runs on compressed air.there is also 2 suggestions from Robert the scientist, its to double the fuel efficiency of cars by driving gas electric hybrid and to install the most efficient heating,lighting and cooling systems in houses.The U.S. uses most of the energy and gas in the world.But we think China does.Saudi Arabia has the most oil in the world thats not on the chart below.OPEC stands for organization or petroleum exporting countries.OPEC includes Algeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, labia, Nigeria, Qatar,Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela.

If there where 100 people on the plane 65 were Canadian and 35 were Americans if the plane crashed on the border of each states which side would you bury the survivors on?

I would like to talk to you about Turkey. Two former names of the city of Istanbul are Byzantium and Constantinople. The city of Constantinople is named after Roman Emperor Constantine The Great. Two world empires that were ruled from Turkey’s largest city’s are Byzantine who ruled Constantinople and the Ottoman who ruled Istanbul.The Ottomans captured Constantinople in 1400’s. The Ottoman Empire lasted For over 500 years and they ended in World War 1 by being on the wrong side of the world. Their major desert is Negev and Jordan is their major river. Also their major export product is citrus fruit. Israels Farmers grow their crops by adding fertilizer to soil and scarce water resources. They also use drip irrigation which is when tubes are to the roots of plants and gets water that drips off the plant.About 80 percent of Israels 6 million people are Jews, the rest are Palestinian. Palestinians believe that the land Israel occupies is there home land. Israel was founded in 1948. Israels government is known for a true Democracy in the region. Since 1948 Israel fought against 4 countries and won. Muslims believed that Harem Al-Sharif in Jerusalem is special because they believe that Muhammad the last and greatest prophet of Islams rose to heaven from that rock which they call sacred.

All you teachers should get a check up. Adults don’t know if they have Hemochromatosis. Hemochromatosis is when iron attacks the organs and can kill you. You may not have it but you can be a carrier.

Carli and I are best buds and we do every thing together. Her twin Jamie is my friend too. People call us triplets when we are out shopping. When i got my teeth pulled and i was scared i wished Carli was right by my side. Carli and Jamie’s mom is my mom’s best friend. We look out for each other.

At Tara Farms they need donations for there animals that are sick and need homes. I used to work there and help them but it was to sad. They have  horses,dogs,cats,pigs,donkeys,lamas and cows. If you could help them out go to http://www.geocities.com/tarafarms/ and check it out.

I want to go to Kentucky because they have the derby race and all the famous horses.They also have the breyer fest. My friend went to the breyer fest and said it was a lot of fun. She saw the horses that were in seabiscut and a lot more.there is a lot of things horses cant do but somehow they teach it to them.
